Dr. Anila Sadananda has been passionately involved with women's rights and cultural issues since her early years. She was one of the first Indian women to undertake doctoral studies in Russia, where she obtained her PhD in Russian Literature. As a young academic at theprestigious JNU in India she took the lead in standing up for women's rights, both on the faculty as well as in the student community. After a decade of contributions to Russian and International Studies, she moved with her family to the internationally funded Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok. Her enthusiasm, dedication and involvement in community life quickly propelled her through the University's administrative services, culminating in her appointment as the Dean of Student Affairs, a post she held for twenty years. During this time she initiated the Women's Study Circle to promote intellectual exchange between professional women, and represented AIT at various international gender-related workshops and conferences. She has been a strong advocate of Emotional Literacy and Multiculturalism through her workshops on these topics, which she exemplifies through her multilingual skills and cultural awareness. Anila is currently the Manager of Student Services at Carrick Institute, Sydney, Australia.
I am a Management Graduate with 23 years of experience over different sectors in India Private sector (exploring new markets and finishing the sale of telecommunication equipment and components); Public Sector Ministry of Labour and Employment (Vocational Training Planning, Organization, Monitoring, Review of Skills Training Programs for Women); and last 7 years in the German Development Cooperation in India Bilateral Development agency (Project Management, Capacity Building tools application, Networking and Stakeholders engagement). Almost 16 years of my working life have been in the area of skills development.

Commisioned in 1958, Maj Gen(Retd) Rajinder Kumar Bagga had over 4 decades of service in Army( EME), including 20 years in Defence R&D Organisation, where he spearheaded Computer Activities in the Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP) . He is the recipient of Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) for distinguished service of exceptional order in providing computing resources and for software development for the Missile Programme .

Mr. P. S. Deodhar is the founder of the 200 crore APLAB Group of companies. The flagship of the group, APLAB Limited, was established in 1962. On October 1, 2009 he stepped down from APLAB as its CMD.
In 1985, Mr. Deodhar was invited by late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi to take over as the Chairman of the Electronics Commission, Government of India and be with him as the Advisor to the Prime Minister on electronics. Earlier, in 1983, he suggested to Mrs. Indira Gandhi benefits of changing over to a liberalised electronics policy and set in motion liberalisation of ICT technologies. Helen Gregory, Senior Project Manager, Australian Council for Private Education and training (ACPET) has had an extensive career in the vocational education and training sector, working in a range of policy and operational roles.
Her Position in ACPET involves introducing an AQTP excellence recognition program for ACPET members. The program will recognize high performing registered training organizations and provide formal recognition of their performance beyond the national quality standards, the Essential Standards for Registration. Participation in the scheme will provide the public with independent information to assist their choice of a quality provider.
Prior to joining ACPET she worked with the NSW Government, Department of Education and Training where she managed the registration of group training organizations(GTOs) under the National Standards for Group Training Organisations and provided funding to registered organizations to encourage the employment of apprentices and trainees.
Helen also worked in Quality Assurance Services supporting the work of the NSW Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB). The Board has responsibility for registering training organizations and accrediting vocational courses under the vocational Education and Training Act 2005(the VET Act)
Helen has also worded on a number of strategic review projects across school and vocational education including a teacher education review and a review of non-government schools.
Professor Indiresan was educated in Presidency College, Madras, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and at the University of Birmingham, UK. He has taught for forty years, starting his career at the University of Roorkee and then shifting to IIT Delhi. He has been a Visiting Professor at the Imperial College, London, and a Fellow at the Wissenschaftskolleg at Berlin. He was for a term Director, IIT Madras.
At IIT, Delhi, Professor Indiresan founded the School of Radar Studies, now renamed as the Centre for Applied Research in Electronics. He also served there as a Dean for Examinations and as Dean of Undergraduate Studies.
Professor Indiresan has been President of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, and of the Indian National Academy of Engineering.
Professor Indiresan is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering, a Distinguished Fellow of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, and Honorary Fellow of the Indian Railway Society of Signal and Telecommunication Engineers.
Professor Indiresan was twice awarded the highest prize of the Inventions Promotion Board, the Government of India. The Indian Institute of Science has conferred on him the Life-time Achievement Award. Karnataka Technical University has conferred on him an Honorary D.Sc. degree. He has also been conferred the Padma Bhushan by the President of India. He has the rare honour of being made an Honorary Member by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, USA. His students have built a hostel in his name.
Professor Indiresan is currently a member of the State Planning Commission, Delhi, a Director of the Indo-Sri Lanka Foundation set up jointly by the two governments, and Chairman, Netaji Institute of Science and Technology, an autonomous institution of the Government of Delhi.
Professor Indiresan has written several hundred articles on societal and technical issues in Indian journals. He prepared the final report "Driving Forces and Impedances" of the Vision 2020 series compiled under the direction of President Kalam. He has a fortnightly column in the Hindu Businessline and has written two books Managing Development: Geographical Socialism, Decentralisation and Urban Replication; and Vision 2020: What India can be, and How to Make that Happen apart from chapters in over twenty books.
Prof. Jaya Indiresan was professor of Higher Education at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration, New Delhi. Earlier she had taught at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has been a visiting professor at the University of Manitoba, Canada and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Michigan, USA. Currently she is a free lance consultant to several national and international organizations.
She has authored three books: 1) Education for Women is Empowerment: Gender Positive Initiatives in Pace Setting Women in Colleges; 2) Institutionalisation of Innovations in Higher Education; and 3) Inclusion vs Exclusion: A study of Women in Police.
She has produced a training manual on Women in Academic Leadership, Sponsored y the University Grants Commission. She has several research publications in national and international journals, produced several research monographs and undertaken several evaluation studies for various organizations.
Her areas of interest include Institution Building and Human Resource Development, with special reference to women. She is deeply involved in training for capacity building in various sectors like educational administrators, women in agriculture, women in police and so on. She is on the Board of CAP Foundation.

Dr Nick Hill is the General Manager of the Australia India Institute with a responsibility for operations and support to the Director in strategy, planning and policy. His PhD research investigated Arts Patronage issues, with fieldwork undertaken in rural India, based in Pune for two and a half years. He is currently the K B Chandrashekar distinguished professor of Marketing and the Director of the Kotler-Srinivasan Center for Marketing Research with Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. His research interests include CRM, market analytics, marketing research and strategic marketing.
Dr You currently heads the Korean unit of International Association of
Exchange of Students for Technical Experiences (IAESTE). He is also President of
Global Association for Training and Exchange (GATE) since he founded it in 2006.
Dr You has a colorful career spanning high technology, international
cooperation and education.
Dr You has been closely associated with high technology industry, especially at
Silicon Valley. Dr. You has worked with David Packard and translated his influential
book into Korean. Besides, Dr. You has studied Intel's management philosophy and
translated President Andrew Grove's book, Only the Paranoid Survive. Dr You founded
a high tech start-up (Venture Business), "Korean American Software Corporation"
(KASCO Technology). He has made significant technical contributions that includes
working on the research team that developed ink jet printers at HP Laboratory. He has,
among others served as chairman of International Venture Network and as advisor to
the International Law and Economy Institute in San Francisco. He has served as chair,
advisor and consultant to a number of Korean institutions. In particular he has served on
the board of the Korea Research Council for Science and Technology (KOCI) for many
years. The Korea Research Council sets the strategic direction of Korea's seven largest
National Research Centers.
Dr You has recently served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the
Korea Foundation for International Cooperation of Science and Technology (KICOS),
an organization founded by the Ministry of Science and Technology. In this capacity
he established a number of research collaborations between Korean and foreign
institutions. The Battelle Memorial Institute's establishment of a Northeast Asian R&D
center in Korea is an outstanding instance
Dr You is an outstanding educationist. He has his academic credentials earned
from world renowned universities. They include Korea University and University of
California, Berkeley. His interests span from graduate programs to those at the school
level, skill development and international student exchange. Among others he founded
and managed a not-for- profit "Korean Language and Cultural School" in California.
